Concordia Lutheran School, which is licensed by the state of Colorado, opened its doors to 18 students in 1985. Since then, we’ve grown to more than 100 children in our Preschool, Transition to Kindergarten, and Kindergarten classes.
Concordia Lutheran School provides a Christ-centered learning experience. Our school embraces the concept that each child is special and has unique needs. Children learn at their own rate of development through discovery and exploration in a safe, secure environment. Children learn by doing, which means emphasizing the process, rather than the product. Through directed play, children experience social awareness, language development, intellectual curiosity, creativity, emotional development and physical growth. A child’s “play” is very much parallel to an adult’s “work”, so activities are designed to enhance a child’s positive self-concept, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
