Starting October 6 through November 27, Concordia Lutheran Church is conducting a sock donation drive with a goal of collecting 1,000 pairs of socks and $1,000 until Thanksgiving Eve to donate to The Action Center for distribution to residents in need within our community. This is part of a larger community effort to break the Guinness World Record for sock donations in a single day, December 4th! The overall goal is to collect 1 pair of socks for every homeless person in Colorado (10,500) as a symbol of our community's caring for those less fortunate. The Concordia Lutheran Church Board of Missions will be matching all monetary donations up to $500! We need your help to meet our goal!! Your support is so important and very much appreciated! Look for the clear bins in the Welcome Center to place your donations. Please join us.

We now have many recycled T-Shirts in the T-Shirt Bag bins out in the Fellowship Hall next to the water fountain. We need your help to transform them into fabric bags. These bags will then be donated to the Jeffco Action Center and repurposed as shopping bags for their patrons. If you are inspired, organize a drive and host a sewing party!

Directions: Cut off the sleeves and cut out the collar. Sew across the bottom of the T-shirt to close it up. Click on the button below for an online tutorial video.
